I bumped into a ROBOT DOG in Barcelona!

Instead of exploring mountains, dusty roads or forests full of interesting smells, we decided to go on a very different expedition: a visit to the Plaza de Toros shopping centre in Barcelona! I was accompanied by my faithful human, Papi Edu, and our pack of the day: Tito Joan, Tita Wilma and Tito Antonio. A perfect group for an urban exploration mission.

Everything was going well. Me sniffing the floors, them looking in shop windows... until, suddenly, there it was! A dog. But not just any dog. A dog with no smell. No footprints. No doggy breath or trace of sticky licks. Something didn't add up. I approached cautiously, wagging my tail but not trusting it completely. And then I saw it clearly! It wasn't a real dog, it was a robot dog.

I swear I blinked several times to make sure I wasn't dreaming. It moved, turned its head, even seemed to watch me with its bright eyes and no doggy soul. I tried to greet it with my classic "let's play" (a couple of jumps and an invitation to chase), but nothing. No sign of emotion, no sniffing of introduction, no secret language that we dogs share. What a disappointment!
