Today we started the day as I like it: doing absolutely nothing. Well, nothing, no, putting away the sofa from Tito Antonio's house, which is a very serious task and only suitable for expert dogs like me. Daddy Edu went to the pool with his brother, Tito Antonio, and left me in charge of the rest area. Don't worry, everything has been under control. Not a single fly has entered without my permission.
When they came back... ta-da! Surprise gift: new balls! Three, not one or two. Perfect, round, smelling of sports and adventure store to come. Is there a better way to say "we love you" than a ball? I doubt it.
After eating (because here in Holland they eat at a late breakfast time for us), we went for a long walk from home. No car, no highway, no endless roundabouts: all on foot.
We went through a huge green area, with paths for humans, areas for bikes and plenty of space for an elite Andalusian Bodeguero to do his sprints. There was a small lake with concrete pillars placed like this, in a row, so that humans could play "jump and don't fall". Of course, they jump from one to the other as if they were circus goats. Not me. I don't do wet games. I ran around the edge of the lake, with dignity, and arrived before them on the other side. Let's see if they learn!
We also saw a windmill, one of those typical ones that can only be in one place: Holland. It was big, with real blades and everything. Daddy took out his cell phone and bam, group selfie with the windmill in the background. It's not that I like to pose, but hey... I make the effort for the cause.
After so much excitement, the afternoon was for relaxation: lying down, cuddles, slow digestion. Just enough to recharge energy and not lose the habit of the dog nap.
And tonight we're back to our thing: the camper, parked in its fixed place in front of the house. It's like having a portable house with a stable address. Perfect for sleeping knowing that tomorrow... anything can happen!
