Day 82: Luss - Maybole

Rain, naps, and sea views

It was raining this morning, and for once, it was a blessing. After Ben Nevis, we felt like a train had run over us. So, we took the opportunity to stay in the camper, all snuggled up and without moving a paw. I was curled up in a ball, Daddy Edu with his book, and outside, just the drumming of the rain on the roof. Glorious.

After lunch, the sky cleared a little and we set off. We drove about 130 kilometres, passing through the outskirts of Glasgow (spoiler: we didn't see anything) and arrived at the coast near Maybole. The spot is a huge car park with views of the Irish Sea and the Isle of Arran in the distance. Very peaceful, with only two other motorhomes, well-spaced out, as it should be.

Before turning in, we went to stretch our legs on the beach. Daddy Edu threw me the ball, I ran, he laughed, I barked. You know, the ritual. Now we're inside, all warm and cosy, watching the sun set over the sea.

A short day, but perfect for recharging our batteries. Tomorrow... we'll see.
