Day 25: North York Moors - Skinningrove 31 May '25 Robin Hood didn't show up, but a hill did, and it nearly made me breathe out of my ears. Then we saw a very important ruined church, although we had to spy on it from over the wall. Great plan.
Day 24: Scarborough - North York Moors 30 May '25 We explore Scarborough, nestled between bays, pedal dragons and tranquil tombstones. Then we walk along the cliffs to Boggle Hole, seeking views, history and a traffic-free place to sleep.
Day 23: Esrick - York - Scarborough 29 May '25 I crossed York from end to end looking for ham… and it turns out that York ham isn't from York. That said, I found a tower, a bridge, a wall, and a human with chicken. Not bad for a Thursday.
Day 22: Ardleigh - Esrick 28 May '25 We slept poorly amidst doubts, crows, and upside-down heads. We drove through bumpy green tunnels to a wheat field at sunset. Playing with the ball, two guys arrived... and we ended up invited to a horse fair!
Day 21: Barendrecht - Hoek van Holland 🇳🇱 ⛴️ 🇬🇧 Harwich - Ardleigh 27 May '25 After five days of family pampering (and dodging my ninja-cousin-cat), it was time to get back on the road. What I didn't know was that the boat would be more boring than a Sunday without football.
Day 20: Barendrecht 26 May '25 Anti-parasite pill, a walk to the mall, and a farewell dinner... while I stay home with the pusi, keeping an eye on the logistics.
Day 19: Barendrecht 25 May '25 Today there was a human gathering at home, with visitors, pastries and... more pampering for the cat than for me! Luckily, we went out to sniff around the field and regain dignity.
Day 18: Barendrecht 24 May '25 Today it was raining even in my thoughts. I took refuge in the cat's bed (yes, I confess). In the afternoon the humans went out on their bikes to a theater with 4000 people, while I stayed guarding the house… and the pusi.
Day 17: Barendrecht 23 May '25 Dad is going swimming with Tito Antonio and I'm staying on the sofa... but he comes back with new balls! Walk with lake, Dutch windmill and selfie included. We sleep in the camper, as it should be.
Day 16: Wachtendonk 🇩🇪 - 🇳🇱 Barendrecht 22 May '25 Failed attempt at a country shower, motorways full of trucks and cows looking at me strangely. But also: hugs, family and the camper parked in front of the house. Hello again, Holland!
Day 15: Üdersdorf - Wachtendonk 21 May '25 We slept poorly but crossed half of Germany with stops and bad roads, and ended up in a quiet forest on the border of Holland. No cheese today, but with a walk and silence.
Day 14: Sankt Ingbert - Üdersdorf 20 May '25 Today we had vineyards, German hugs, a sneaky tick, and a man who talked more than a parrot on espresso. But in the end, a quiet forest and paws in the air. A full-on kind of day.
