An infinite steppe, camels greeting us from the roadside and cemeteries that look like miniature villages. We took to the roads of Kazakhstan with lightning-fast internet, only to end up driving the camper into a mud labyrinth right before camping among strangers.
A rowdy pub brawl on all fours, the River Volga overflowing, and a GPS that decided to take a holiday. The trip through Russia turned into a digital obstacle course where communicating with the outside world required spy techniques from the last century.
An entire city vanished under the water, impossible roads through the mountains, and a gigantic statue of Atatürk watching over Artvin from the heights. And we ended up sleeping among tea plantations and flying cable cars.
Three hundred kilometres, an epic nap and an impossible mission: finding somewhere to sleep. Between signs, new rules and not much useful space, today we had to improvise until the end.
We left late and ended up on a 4x4 route that was no shortcut. Seville gave us hugs, giant flamenquines, a dangerous coffee in IKEA and even a custom-made dog jumper. Full day without running.
