From Downpatrick to Annalong, passing through sacred history, blocked roads, luxury showers, and the 39th country in my doggy passport. Ireland, here we come!
🇬🇧 United Kingdom
In the early hours of the morning, the wind nearly blew the camper van away. Between ruins, traffic jams, and bagpipes, we ended the day sheltering in a forest near Belfast, this time with calm... I think.
Un ranger simpático, un pez de cerámica gigante, el Titanic a tamaño real y murales que hablan del pasado y del presente. Belfast se muestra sin filtros… y nos deja con mucho que contar.
We didn't get to do the cliff path today, but we found a trail to the Blackhead lighthouse, some colorful houses that almost made me go cross-eyed, and a new spot by the sea to sleep.
Waterfalls, ice cream, and a brave swim in Ballycastle before we venture into a hidden nook between field and forest, only for those who dare to take on a 4x4.
From quiet caves to the Giant’s Causeway, via an overpriced bridge and some Chinese ladies shouting “E-AR-SAT” while I posed like a model. A perfect day for a canine explorer.
Between temples, city walls and a bridge that connects more than shores, we crossed from Northern Ireland to Ireland without even noticing. A day to reflect… and to sniff around.
From Applegreen to Hillsborough: invisible border, cathedrals, a hidden lake and coffee with new Irish friends.
While I was putting away the camper, Daddy Edu and Uncle Javi embarked on the Titanic Experience. Boats, walks, and even a ghost cruise that almost left me without a ride.
Today I returned to Belfast, I saw a giant salmon that gives wisdom (I only thought of sushi), uncle Javi was crowned on every glass throne and daddy Edu photographed murals until he filled the memory.
From lighthouses on the cliffs to movie-like beech tunnels... and we end up sleeping with views of Scotland. What a day for an adventurous winemaker!
