Today was intense tourism: streets that smell of waffles, selfies galore, and towns so pretty they almost fine you for breathing them in. We skipped Mulhouse, trotted through Eguisheim, collected facades in Colmar and slept hugging the Rhine, me with my snout in France and my tail in Germany.
🇫🇷 France – Global Tracking 2025
🇪🇸🇫🇷🇩🇪🇳🇱 Spain, France, Germany, and the Netherlands
After so much city, we were looking for peace and quiet. We found it at a lake with no swimming, a nap on the motorway, and a stream with a liquid soundtrack.
We slept with a soundtrack of waterfalls, discovered a castle without tourists, ran among magical rocks and crossed into Germany with smuggled cheese. And all without losing our tails.
🇫🇷 Vive la France!
I woke up sailing, I had a pee next to the "dog toilet", I met international collies and Dad devoured half the ferry menu. We arrived in Cherbourg without diesel and ended up sleeping among French motorhomes.
Beaches where the war raged, bunkers swallowed by the sand, a museum that nearly blew daddy's mind, and a finale in an empty meadow fit for a shaggy king. Fancy coming to smell some history with me?
We slept like rocks, we fled from museums and followed our noses: shopping, aimless road trips and a hidden meadow next to a tiny village. Guess where I ended up marking my territory?
No museums, no beaches, no rush: just secret forest, a nap on wheels and an ancient canal that awaited us without knowing it. Who said that "doing nothing" doesn't give you adventures?
A night with a disco on wheels, a historic city explored at a snail's pace and a silent forest… save for the acorns that attack from above. Will we survive the bombardment?
From a forest that bombards us with acorns to a secret lake full of swans, via a riverside picnic and a rebellious GPS. There was no plan… but there was adventure. Fancy joining us to sniff it out?
A lake full of feathers, a castle that can be seen in glimpses and a town carved into the rock where even the water seems magical. And finally, a secret refuge behind a church. Can you smell the adventure?
From a medieval heroin tower to a village carved into the rock and a secret hideaway by the Loire. Today there were endless staircases, curious humans and caves with history. Shall I tell you about the barks?
Today I climbed fairytale walls, sniffed around troglodyte caves and ended the day watching the Loire from a secret hideout. If this isn't a dog's life... I don't know what is!
