The wind drove us from the tea plantation and we began an overnight move with no fixed plan. A border crossing with a surprise included, Batumi full of contrasts and an ending with cakes, candles and a camper in calm.

An entire city vanished under the water, impossible roads through the mountains, and a gigantic statue of Atatürk watching over Artvin from the heights. And we ended up sleeping among tea plantations and flying cable cars.
We survived another of Papi Edu's "shortcuts" through snow, bends and mountains. I ended up becoming famous in a remote museum and we almost slept next to a river, flood warning included.
We crossed a snow-covered mountain pass, I nearly froze my paws off taking heroic photos, and we ended up sleeping hidden away in a quarry. Chuly-level travel glamour.
We climbed up to royal tombs carved over two thousand years ago into the Amasya mountain. Then came one of those long road-trip days, endless springs, and falling asleep without even knowing where we have ended up.
Today I explored a giant castle above Amasya, strolled between Ottoman houses by the river and my humans ended up being scrubbed and pummelled in a Turkish hammam. I preferred to keep watch over the campervan.
We discovered a buried city of giants, stone doors watching over the past, and a secret sanctuary in the rock. I was following scents, but I ended up travelling through time with my humans.
I woke up in the middle of a late-night airport mission and suddenly Uncle Joan appeared. From there, the day turned into endless tea, watchful peacocks and kebabs that seem like Turkish magic.
Everything ready for Ankara… until a phone call changes everything. Missed flight, emergency improvisation, and now we wait in silence near the airport. Night mission activated.
Mozart playing beneath the wheels, a desert of colours and an impromptu plan by the lake. At night, the sky fills with birds in formation. Pure theatre, no ticket required.
We climbed towers, strolled through the streets at our leisure and ended up in front of hundreds of little sandcastles churned out like hot cakes. Drone in the air, a mischievous wind… and a perfect night on the other side of the hill.
Curves, Ottoman houses and views from above in Taraklı. Göynük is left for tomorrow. After searching among slopes and rubbish… we found a flat spot. Noisy, yes, but we slept straight.
