From cliffs with caves to deserted beaches and icy swims. Today we cross the north of Scotland amongst chatty Spaniards, hitchhikers with faith, and sunsets over lonely lakes.

A postcard sunset, holes in the sand, and a farmer with more bad temper than a gone-off yoghurt: that's what our day was like, spent amongst deserted beaches, spectacular cliffs, and epic quests for a signal.
A walk amongst historic stones, a luxury washing machine, and a lady handing out sweets. Between wind, industrial memories, and a car park with a view, we find a moment of respite in the north of Scotland.
Among Viking ruins, castles that look out to sea and little birds that look like penguins, we arrive at the very north of Scotland... only to turn around looking for a place where they won't throw eggs at us.
Crazy lights, a castle hanging over the abyss, and an unexpected dinner with two gentlemen from Israel. Me, in the campervan with my football. Daddy Edu, with mince and tatties in his belly.
Amidst spectacular cliffs and ancient ruins, Daddy Edu battles a cough... and the car decides to join the drama with a light failure worthy of a disco.
Expensive castles, walks amongst ferns, an "alternative" beach, and a lonely place with a sad history. Oh, and sand in your ears. That's what our day in the Highlands was like.
A picture-postcard day: between cathedrals, rich people's golf courses with clubs, wild dunes, rusty boats, and Germans going wild about our mobile phone signal. And me, as always, in the thick of it all.
We went to look for dolphins and ended up finding enchanted waterfalls, oil rigs and other people's gardens. Luckily we slept surrounded by fields and tranquility... without fairies or annoying humans!
The flu isn't giving up, but neither are we. We stroll through historic forests, look for views on the Black Isle peninsula, and discover one of the few places where wild camping is permitted.
We continue the route between bends and colds, with a stop at a historic bridge and a desperate search for a place to sleep. In the end, a peaceful forest, a short walk and a night without any surprises.
A suspension bridge, a dip in the river, and this cold that won't budge. While Daddy Edu battles the viruses, I keep watch from the towel. Sometimes being a canine nurse is hard work.
